Shining Star Spotlight: Angie O’Bryant, May 2026

Michigan Works! Southwest is proud to recognize Angie O’Bryant as the April 2026 Shining Star Award recipient for her exceptional dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving customers and the community.

Throughout April, Angie demonstrated truly outstanding performance in Talent Solutions by consistently providing excellent customer service while maintaining high expectations and meeting customers where they are in their individual journeys. Through her supportive approach and ability to build meaningful relationships, she helps individuals gain confidence as they pursue and achieve employment opportunities.

In addition to her direct customer support, Angie made valuable contributions to the local community by providing weekly services through the Douglas Community Association. Her efforts have played an important role in strengthening this partnership and extending access to services within the community.

Angie’s dedication, dependability, and commitment to excellence have made a meaningful impact on both the customers she serves and her coworkers throughout Michigan Works! Southwest. Her initiative, professionalism, and compassionate service truly embody the spirit of the Shining Star Award.
