The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Four-Year Regional and Local Plans for Program Years (PYs) 2024 through 2027 for Region 8 and Michigan Works! Southwest are available below.
In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act, the WIOA Local Plan for the Michigan Works! Southwest Area and/or the WIOA Regional Plan for Region 8 will be made available in alternative format (large type, audiotape, etc.) upon request.
The Mid Cycle Modification of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Four-Year Region 8 Plan for Program Years (PY) 2024-2027 and the Four-Year WIOA Local Plan for PYs 2024-2027 for Michigan Works! Southwest were posted today on the Michigan Works! Southwest website. These plans are available for public review and comment until the end of the day, Friday, August 7, 2026. Comments regarding either WIOA Region 8 Plan modification may be sent by email to arosenberg@upjohn.org or they may be submitted in writing to: Amanda Rosenberg, Policy and Planning Administrator, MW Southwest Area, 300 S.
