October 2025 Shining Star: Imani Lewis-Rodriguez

Michigan Works! Southwest is proud to announce Imani Lewis-Rodriguez as our Shining Star for October 2025!

Each month, the Shining Star Award honors a team member who wholeheartedly embodies the values and mission of Michigan Works! Southwest. Selected through peer nominations, this recognition shines a spotlight on individuals who consistently go above and beyond, creating a meaningful impact for both those they serve and our internal team.

Imani’s dedication to youth development and her outstanding service to our community have earned her this well-deserved recognition. As a Youth Career Coach, Imani has proven herself to be an exemplary advocate for young adults, helping them identify their goals, overcome challenges, and take confident steps toward their futures.

In addition to her direct work with participants, Imani serves as a strong ambassador for Michigan Works! Southwest Youth Services. She represents the program with professionalism and enthusiasm at community meetings and through partnerships with local organizations, building bridges that expand opportunities for the youth she serves.

Her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to collaboration make her a true asset to the Michigan Works! Southwest team. Imani’s leadership and community engagement continue to strengthen our impact and inspire those around her every day.
