Meet April Hamilton, Shining Star for the month of April!

The Michigan Works! Southwest team wishes to congratulate April Hamilton on being selected as the Shining Star for the month of April. The Shining Star Award celebrates Michigan Works! Southwest front line staff who, through dedication and outstanding contributions to workforce development, personify the Michigan Works! Southwest mission.

Flexibility, empathy, and a team-oriented attitude are continually displayed by April. She provides exceptional customer service for all job seekers as she assists in seeking out resources, coordinating orientations, and providing supportive services to remove barriers. April goes out of her way to ensure the needs of customers, whose schedules often vary, are met. Her hard work and dedication bring great credibility to herself and her team.
