Celebrating Our September Shining Star: Barb Wise

Congratulations to Barb Wise, Success Coach with Retention Solutions, on being selected as Michigan Works! Southwest’s September 2026 Shining Star!

Barb is an exceptional leader in reporting and data entry, consistently demonstrating accuracy, organization, and a strong commitment to quality. Her attention to detail and dependability help ensure that reporting expectations are met and records are maintained with care.

That same dedication extends to Barb’s work as a Success Coach, where she genuinely cares about each employee she serves. She takes the time to understand the individual needs and challenges of those she supports, approaching each interaction with compassion and kindness.

What truly sets Barb apart is her ability to balance a data-driven, reporting-focused mindset with a genuine personal investment in people. She understands that behind every number or report is a real person, and she brings both accountability and empathy to her work.

Barb’s leadership, dependability, and commitment to both excellence and the people she serves make her an invaluable member of the Michigan Works! Southwest team. We are proud to recognize Barb as a Shining Star and celebrate the meaningful impact she makes through her work each day.
