DESCRIPTION:Getting Disability Accommodations on the Job \nThis training\, led by a Disability Network community engagement representative\, provides valuable guidance on navigating disability disclosure and accommodation in the workplace. Participants will learn how to assess the pros and cons of disclosing a disability to an employer and the proper steps for requesting accommodations on the job. The session will also cover when individuals are legally protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and situations where ADA coverage may not apply\, empowering attendees with the knowledge to advocate for their rights in professional settings.
