Apprenticeship Readiness Training

Vision for Prosperity is an apprenticeship readiness training program developed with support from the building trades to help Kalamazoo County residents qualify for training and employment opportunities in the construction industry.

Training includes 315 hours of blueprint reading, construction math, health and safety, first aid/CPR, building trades and labor history, field trips to apprenticeship programs and an externship at a local construction site.

A stipend is provided during training.
